10 March 1945: Sinsen , Germany was <strong>the</strong> 311 mission for <strong>the</strong><br />
group. The railway center at Sinsen was bombed GH methods with<br />
fair results. Thirteen ships flew <strong>the</strong> high squadron as follows:<br />

11 March 1945: No mission was scheduled for <strong>the</strong> 11 . The<br />
squadrons carried out ground school and training activities with<br />
fair attendance.<br />
12 March 1945: Dillenburg , Germany was <strong>the</strong> group’s 312 th<br />
mission. <strong>Bomb</strong>ing was made on wagon repair shops in M/Y’s 500<br />
yards north <strong>of</strong> #1 MPI. This was by <strong>the</strong> GEE-H method. Fixes at<br />
bombs away indicate good results. Twelve ships <strong>of</strong> this squadron<br />
flew <strong>the</strong> mission as follows: Lt. Yavis and crew led <strong>the</strong> squadron<br />
in ship #476; #263, Lt. Adams and crew; #841, Lt. Thompson and<br />
crew; #909, Lt. Sc<strong>of</strong>ield and crew; #431, Lt. Holliday and crew;<br />
#618, Lt. Dean and crew; #379, Lt. Brown and crew; #636, Lt.<br />
Harvey and crew; #540, Lt. Borgstrom and crew; #615, Lt. Lawson<br />
and crew; #806, Lt. Smiekel and crew; #225, Lt. Dickson and crew.<br />

14 March 1945: The completed mission to Vlotho and Osnabruck,<br />

Germany was <strong>the</strong> group’s 313 . The lead and low squadrons bombed<br />
<strong>the</strong> R.R. Bridge over <strong>the</strong> Weser River by <strong>the</strong> town <strong>of</strong> Vlotho . The<br />
high squadron bombed <strong>the</strong> marshalling yards at Osnabruck . These<br />

were with good results. This was <strong>the</strong> 323 ’s “stand down” in turn<br />
so none <strong>of</strong> our crews took part. Ground school schedules were<br />
carried out with fair attendance.<br />
15 March 1945: For <strong>the</strong> 314 mission, Oranienburg , Germany was<br />
