<strong>Bomb</strong>ing Results: This mission was a PFF job and due to 10/10 cloud cover over <strong>the</strong> target<br />
results were unobserved.<br />
40 - 500 lb. G. P. bombs were dropped by this squadron.<br />
Flak: Meager inaccurate flak encountered over <strong>the</strong> target for our A/C flying at altitudes <strong>of</strong> 27,000<br />
to 28,000 feet.<br />
Escort and enemy fighters: P-47 escort was scheduled for cover over <strong>the</strong> whole route over enemy<br />
territory and was excellent all <strong>the</strong> way. There was only one enemy fighter seen on <strong>the</strong> entire<br />
mission and it did not make an attack. All ships <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Group</strong> returned safely to base.<br />
