Rosenheim , Germany with excellent results being obtained. Twelve<br />

19 – 20 April 1945: No mission was scheduled for <strong>the</strong> 19 . The<br />
th 20 , <strong>the</strong> group attacked Brandenburg , Germany . Hits on <strong>the</strong><br />
marshalling yards were good to excellent, even though by “PFF”<br />
methods, this squadron was “stood down”.<br />
21 April 1945: bombing was made on <strong>the</strong> Marshalling yards at<br />
Munich , Germany by H2X methods. Results believed good. 12 A/C <strong>of</strong><br />
this squadron participated: #471 (<strong>Group</strong> Lead), Major Reid and<br />
crew; #116, Lt. Templeton and crew; #618, Lt. Whitten and crew;<br />

#630 (Dep. Gp. Ld), Lt. Blanchet and crew; #755 (322 ), Lt.<br />
Harvey and crew; #379 (aborted), Lt. Schilley and crew; #276, Lt.<br />

22-24 April 1945: No operational missions were scheduled for<br />
<strong>the</strong>se days.<br />
25 April 1945: This mission was our last one for this <strong>the</strong>atre,<br />
although, it wasn’t known at that time. This made <strong>the</strong> 340th mission for <strong>the</strong> group and for ship #909; 140 completed missions<br />
without an abortive, still holding <strong>the</strong> ETO record. This last<br />
attack was made on an airfield at Pilsen , Germany . Good results<br />
were obtained. 12 A/C <strong>of</strong> this squadron participated as follows:<br />

26-30 April 1945: No operation missions were scheduled. Ground<br />
school and training activities were carried out as scheduled.<br />
TOTAL FOR APRIL: this squadron flew 135 sorties with only three
