yield of the last decade of April on the average is 39 t ha -1 , and the yield of more late
sowing – the first decade of April – evenly decreases up to 26 t ha -1 . The time of
harvesting doesn’t influence the standard yield. It was established that the rootcrops
sown on April 20-30 and gathered on October 9 had the best biochemical
composition. When the sowing time was delayed from the third decade of April up
to the first decade of July, carrot cost price increased 1.7 times and profit decreased
4.7 times.
