The center receives traffic information andtraffic data, evaluates traffic situation, and verifies generated traffic information (usually, multiplesources are investigated). In short time to come, the center will be actually able to control the trafficusing powerful telematic systems.The NDIC features central control system that includes the following core modules:- Communication interface- Interface for telematic applications- Dispatcher supervision subsystem- Traffic control subsystem- Traffic and control information supply subsystem- System management subsystem- Traffic engineering applications- Uniform user interface for operatorsFig. 2 The NDIC resides in a modern building in Ostrava and features state-of-art technology.
