students from special needs schools to the ‘Folkeskole’ is not a straightforward
process. Furthermore, the study shows that inclusion is not easy to implement; on
the contrary, inclusion and inclusion processes are complex and dilemma filled
areas. As such, the study concludes that former pupils at special needs schools are
divided as to whether they would have preferred to stay in a special needs school.
