• Continuous communication are very important aspects not only in the case of the
decentralized Comenius 1 projects but they are the main characteristics of the
Comenius 2.1 and Comenius 3 centralized projects as well.
• Mixed partnership is characteristic that is true only for the centrlized projects in
which participants from many different levels and sectors of education might work
together.

The good part and the challenges of projectwork
Projects are great because:
• They mean new fields of work
• Intercultural dimansion is an exciting new feature of transnational projects
• They might increase the motivation towards learning
• With their help one can gain insight into other counties educational system, teaching
practices, educational priorities
• Many new ideas might come up while working together, and discussing educational
questions with foreign colleagues
But, on the other hand, do not become involved:
• If you are overstressed in your work,
• If you do not have the support from your colleagues and head (projectwork is teamwork!),
• If you do not like paperwork,
• Project work usually means extra work on top of the normal workload.
