L’ultima parte della ricerca è stata dedicata alle determinazioni sui frutti. I risultati ottenuti sono riportati in tabella 3. Per quanto riguarda gli elementi indispensabili ferro, zinco e magnesio si può notare che sono presenti a valori pressoché costanti e senza notevoli differenze tra i due sistemi di difesa. Unica eccezione un leggero aumento delle concentrazioni del magnesio nel secondo prelievo specie utilizzando il sistema di difesa integrata. Per il cromo va sottolineato come esso sia presente in concentrazioni molto ridotte in tutte le tesi e in tutte e tre le raccolte mentre per il nichel i valori sono risultati sempre al di sotto del limite di rivelabilità dello strumento.
