5.9.2. Aircrew members shall not use uncertified Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)<br />

or personal devices with RF transmit/receive capability on AMC aircraft carrying hazard<br />

class 1 explosive cargo at anytime. Prohibited devices include cellular phones, and laptop<br />

computers/PDAs with wireless capability enabled (i.e. Bluetooth). Loadmasters will ensure<br />

passengers comply with this restriction. Aircrew members may use certified GFE such as<br />

PFPS laptops and PDAs with infrared transmitters.<br />

5.9.3. Authorized electronic equipment, to include hand-held GPS, is listed on the<br />

Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) website at:<br />

5.10. Tobacco Use on Air Force Aircraft. Tobacco use of any type is prohibited on Air Force<br />

aircraft.<br />

5.<strong>11</strong>. Advisory Calls. The PF will announce intentions for departures, arrivals, approaches, and<br />

when circumstances require deviating from normal procedures. The PM will make all advisory<br />

calls except those designated for other crewmembers.<br />

5.<strong>11</strong>.1. Takeoff. State ―GO‖ at refusal speed or takeoff speed, whichever is lower. Any<br />

crewmember noting a safety of flight malfunction before hearing ―GO‖ will state ―REJECT‖<br />

and a brief description of the malfunction (e.g., ―Reject, number two engine flameout.‖).<br />

5.<strong>11</strong>.2. Deviations:<br />

5.<strong>11</strong>.2.1. The PM will inform the PF when heading or airspeed deviations are observed,<br />

or when the altitude is more than 100 feet from the desired, and no attempt is being made<br />

to correct the deviation.<br />

5.<strong>11</strong>.2.2. Any crewmember seeing a deviation of 200 feet altitude or 10 knots in<br />

airspeed, or a potential terrain or obstruction problem, will immediately notify the PF.<br />

Deviations from prescribed procedures for the approach being flown will also be<br />

announced.<br />

5.<strong>11</strong>.3. Advisory calls: Refer to Table 5.1 through Table 5.4 for a listing of mandatory<br />

advisory calls, responses, and aircrew actions.<br />
