5. Clock/ Mode Control
5.1 Features

TMPM330
The clock/ mode control block enables to select clock gear, prescaler clock and warm-up of the PLL
(including clock multiplication circuit) and oscillator.
The low power consumption mode can reduce power consumption.
5.2 Functions
5.2.1 Modes and Mode Transition
The single clock mode is to use only the high-speed clock. The dual clock mode is to use the
high-speed and low-speed clocks.
The NORMAL mode and the SLOW mode use the high-speed and low-speed clocks for system clock
respectively.
The IDLE, SLEEP and STOP modes can be used as the low power consumption mode that enables to
reduce power consumption by halting processor core operation.
Fig. 5-1 shows diagrams of mode transition.
