Mission Statement
The mission of LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes is to serve as
the official cultural center of Los Angeles dedicated to
educating the public about the seminal role of Mexicans and
Mexican-Americans in the development of the region, and to
provide diverse audiences with opportunities to experience
the richness of Mexican-American culture.
2011-12 Budget Message
The 2011-12 Recommended Budget reflects an increase of
$200,000 in net County cost to provide full-year funding and
support for buildings and grounds maintenance, utilities, and
other anticipated operational costs.
