Despite lacking a quantitative dimension, the<br />

survey results allow to assess the STABEX-funded<br />

support provided in the Northern and Eastern<br />

Smallholders were specifically asked the<br />

following: “Considering your farming needs, do<br />

you think the various support you have received<br />

were adequate?” The assessment of this criterion<br />

is based on the reply given for each type of<br />

support: provision of market information, training<br />

in business management, training in processing,<br />

training in marketing, training in agronomic<br />

activities, processing equipment, tools, storage<br />

facilities, drying facilities, seeds, pesticides and<br />

insecticides, fertilizers, capital (micro-credit).<br />
