While in the Eastern regions, the percentage of<br />
non-supported farmers above EPL is almost 80%,<br />
and 60% of the supported farmers group are also<br />
above the EPL (see Figure 105). In other words,<br />
the differences in terms of poverty levels are<br />
accentuated from a regional point of view.<br />
In relation to NFI per farm household unit,<br />
in the Eastern region, the non-supported group<br />
achieves the highest average level of the entire<br />
sample (1 174 252 Leones); suggesting that<br />
these farmers are indeed the better off (Figure<br />
106). The supported farmers of the Eastern<br />
districts achieve the second position with 925<br />
