1 PLC Functions<br />

The integrated PLC in the <strong>TNC</strong> <strong>360</strong>/<strong>TNC</strong> 335 contains its own Text Editor for creating the list of<br />

instructions for the PLC program. Commands and comments are entered via the ASCII keyboard on<br />

the control panel (see Section "Programming and editing files").<br />

The functions TRACE and TABLE, as well as a Syntax check on entering the PLC commands and a<br />

logical test with the Function COMPILE can make it easier to find faults in the PLC program (see<br />

section "Test functions").<br />

5 ms are available for a PLC run. Up to 4000 logic commands, equivalent to 28 KB, can be<br />

processed within this period (executable memory). A new PLC run commences every 24 ms, i.e.<br />

every 24 ms the inputs are read and outputs are set.<br />

The following section shows how to start PLC operation.<br />

1.1 Select PLC operation<br />

PLC operation covers all functions for creating and testing the PLC programs.<br />

It can be selected as follows, using the code number 807 667.<br />
