Play a chord.<br />

XP-30 will play an arpeggio, according to the notes forming the chord you<br />

have just voiced.<br />

Continue holding down [ARPEGGIO], and the ARP SELECT<br />

display will appear.<br />

In this page you can change the Style, Accent Rate, Octave Range and<br />

Tempo of the arpeggio. Here’s how to change the Style.<br />

Hold down [ARPEGGIO], and press [ ] or [ ] to move the<br />

cursor (underline) to the Style parameter. Then rotate the<br />

VALUE dial to select various settings.<br />

Depending on the value you enter, the way arpeggios play will vary.<br />

Hold down [ARPEGGIO] and press [TRANSPOSE]. The<br />

[ARPEGGIO] indicator will begin blinking, and the arpeggio<br />

will continue sounding even after you take your hand off the<br />

keyboard (Hold).<br />

To stop the arpeggio from being sounded by the Hold function, hold down<br />

[ARPEGGIO] again and press [TRANSPOSE]. The indicator changes from<br />

blinking to lit.<br />

To finish playing arpeggios, press [ARPEGGIO] again so the<br />

indicator turns off.<br />
