Hydroquinone, 1.0 g<br />

�Potassium bicarbonate, 10.0 g<br />

Water to make 1.0 liter<br />

* 20.0 grams of sodium sulfi te can be substituted for potassium sulfi te.<br />

�10.0 grams of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) can be substituted for potassium bicarbonate.<br />

Use undiluted for 8 to 12 minutes at 68F/20C.<br />

This is a metol–sulfi te soft-working developer.<br />

Metol, 4.5 g<br />

Sodium sulfi te, 85.0 g<br />

Sodium carbonate, monohydrate, 1.2 g<br />

Potassium bromide, 0.5 g<br />

Water to make 1.0 liter<br />

Use undiluted and develop from 10 to 20 minutes at 68F/20C.<br />
