SOLUTION C<br />

Water, 250.0 ml<br />

Gold chloride, 1.0 g<br />

Take 30.0 ml of each stock solution and add 300.0 ml of water. Fix the print in a plain hypo<br />

bath and wash for 10 to 30 minutes. Agitate the prints during toning. <strong>The</strong> average print will<br />

be toned in about 15 minutes. Dark prints take longer. After toning treat with a washing aid<br />

and wash for about 1 hour.<br />

NOTE 1: Slight intensifi cation will take place with some papers, particularly chloride and<br />

chlorobromide emulsions.<br />

NOTE 2: This quantity of toner can be used for two to four 11 � 14� prints. <strong>The</strong> mixed solution<br />

will keep for several hours.<br />

Kodak T-12<br />

Iron-Toning Bath<br />

This toner produces blue tones.<br />

Ferric ammonium citrate, green, 4.0 g<br />

Oxalic acid, crystals, 4.0 g<br />

Potassium ferricyanide, 4.0 g<br />

Water to make 1.0 liter<br />

To use, immerse the well-washed print in the toning bath for 10 to 15 minutes until the<br />

desired tone is obtained. <strong>The</strong>n wash until the highlights are clear.<br />

NOTE: Dissolve each chemical separately and fi lter before mixing together.<br />

Kodak T-26<br />

Blue Toner<br />

Blue toner for solid deep blue tones on warm-tone papers, and soft blue-black tones on<br />

neutral-tone papers.<br />

Add:<br />

Water at 125F/52C, 937.0 ml<br />

Gold chloride, 1% solution, 40.0 ml
