<strong>The</strong> mixed solution will not keep well and should be discarded after use. Prints that<br />

appear weak after toning can be strengthened by immersing in a bath composed of the<br />

following:<br />

Copper sulfate, 48.0 g<br />

Potassium bromide, 24.0 g<br />

Acetic acid, 28% solution, 50.0 ml<br />

Water to make 1.0 liter<br />

Prints should be washed another ½ hour after using this solution. Fresh solution should<br />

always be used.<br />

GT-15<br />

Copper Red Toner<br />

SOLUTION A<br />

Potassium citrate, neutral, 100.0 g<br />

Water at 68F/20C, 500.0 ml<br />

SOLUTION B<br />

Copper sulfate, 7.5 g<br />

Water to make, 250.0 ml<br />

SOLUTION C<br />

Potassium ferricyanide, 6.5 g<br />

Water to make 250.0 ml<br />

Mix Solution B with Solution A. While stirring, slowly add stock Solution C.<br />

NOTE: GT-15 bleaches the print. Compensate by extending the printing time as much<br />

as 50%.<br />

Single-Solution Dye Toner<br />

Wood (methyl) alcohol, 100.0 ml<br />

Potassium ferricyanide, 1.0 g
