4. Tighten the belt tension device by tightening the 4x4 mm Allen<br />

screws.<br />

5. Check the tension of the belt again (90-100 Hz). If needed, repeat<br />

the tension adjustment.<br />

9.5.7.5 Removing the Azimuth Encoder<br />

To remove the Azimuth Encoder, do as follows:<br />

1. Open the service hatch by releasing the two latches.<br />

2. Switch off the power to the antenna on the service switch.<br />

3. Rotate the Antenna Dish to top position.<br />

4. Press in and turn the elevation locking pin (only available from<br />

serial number TBD) to locked position.<br />

5. Rotate the antenna pedestal so that the Azimuth DDM faces from<br />

the service hatch.<br />

Removal and replacement of ADU modules<br />

Tools needed:<br />

• 4 x 150 mm Allen key<br />

(located inside the<br />

service door of the ADU)<br />

• Acoustic frequency meter<br />
