He was born April 29,1922 in Cass County to Mary Margaret (Sheetz) and DeWitt Stuart Sr. He married Mary Catherine Selleck Jan. 8, 1965 inLogansport, and she survives. Jay retired from Arone Hardware in 2010 after eight years of service. He had also worked at BigR for 25 years and Colonial Oil for 13 years. He enjoyed working on lawnmowers, watching NASCAR, eating appledumplings, and spending time with his friends and especially his grandchildren. Jay attended the Center Church near YoungAmerica. Survivors besides his wife include a daughter, Lisa Newman and husband John, Kokomo; two sons, Steve Stuart andwife Beth, Logansport, and Bill Hoffman and wife Tammy, <strong>Peru</strong>; two brothers, Milton Stuart, Logansport, and Kenneth Stuartand wife Brinda, Arizona; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nephews, John Stuart and wife Carolyn,Lewisburg, and Duane Stuart and wife Kay, Logansport; and two nieces, Marylou Morgan and husband Mike, Logansport, andStephanie Henson and husband Greg, Georgia. He was preceded in death by one brother, Marlin Stuart; and one daughter,Patty Ann Stuart. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport, with the Rev.Johnny Thompson and Rev. John Newman officiating. Hewas born Nov. 15, 1941 in Arbyrd, Mo. to Jeff and Clara Bell (Taylor) Renfrow. He married Cleo “Joy” Pierce, and shesurvives. Gerry was a retired brakeman from the N&S Railroad. She was born May 22,1917 in Bowen, Ky. to Cain and Nana Rankin Briscoe. She was married to Ollie Morgan Dec. 24, 1938, and Ollie passed awayJuly 26, 2001. She enjoyed Elvis Presley music and bird watching. Kathryn retired from the Miami County Courthouse as acustodian. She attended Pilgrim Holiness of <strong>Peru</strong>. Survivors include a brother, Chester Briscoe, Leeco, Ky.; a daughter, LoisStarkey (Jim), Swayzee; a son, Allen Morgan (Rachel), Logansport; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Morgan, Wabash;grandchildren, Joe Starkey (Annette), <strong>Peru</strong>, Sue Ramos (David), <strong>Peru</strong>, Jimmy Starkey (Yvonne), Casselberry, Fla., RickMorgan (Judy), Silver Lake, Dorene Poor (David), Lagro, Randy Morgan (Rhonda), Ijamsville, Teresa Halstead (Richard),Wabash, Shawna Morgan, <strong>Peru</strong>, and Aarron Morgan (Gina), <strong>Peru</strong>; 29 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Kathryn waspreceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters, one son, one grandson, one great-granddaughter and one greatgrandson.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W.
