Macy Gilead Road, Macy, passed away at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, April 16, <strong>2011</strong>, at theVeterans Administration Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion. He was born on Sept. 1, 1933 in Fulton County, theson of Howard Virgil and Alice Gertrude (Zartman) White. On Jan. 26, 1973, in Richland Center, he married Margaret Rockand she survives. Mr. White had been a farmer and had previously worked for Delco and Sealed Power. He was an U.S.Marine Corps. veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and was an avid Indiana University basketball fan. Survivors include hiswife, Margaret White, Macy; children, Randy White, Bloomfield, Cheryl and husband, Robert, Bartoo, Wabash, Ron and wife,Tami, White, Safety Harbor, Fla., Raymond and wife, Yvonne, White, Rochester, Dustin and wife, Sara, White, Portage; stepchildren,Matt and wife, Kerrie, Lyons, Fort Wayne, Mark and wife, Jennifer, Lyons, Kokomo; fourteen grandchildren, sixgreat grandchildren, sisters, Phyllis Gehring, <strong>Peru</strong>, Anna and husband, Darrell, Glasson, Selma, Lulu Koenig, Mesa, Ariz.,Maridean and husband, Jim, Barnette, Hazel Green, Ala. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gerald White in1995 and sister, Freda Roe in 2004. He was born in Miami Countyon August 31, 1924 to James and Mable (Fenters) Whybrew. He married Marilyn (Otiker) Whybrew in July 8, 1945 and shepreceded him in death in May 18, 1969. He then married Helia (Greene) Smith Whybrew May 5,1973 and she preceded him indeath February 15, <strong>2011</strong>. Frank was employed at Dana Corp. and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the ParkviewUnited Method Church, and served in the Marine Corps in WWII in which he received the Bronze Starr. He is survived bydaughter, Janice (Bill) Moore, Amboy; son, Ronald Sr. (Anita) Whybrew, Amboy; step-daughter, Nancy Smith, Indianapolis;and step-daughter, Mary Kelly, Wyoming. Surviving grandchildren are Matt Moore, Frank Moore, Dan Moore, RonaldWhybrew Jr., Charles Whybrew, and Teresea Lund, and 10 great grandchildren, sisters Doris Stanley, Juanita Lake and MarySue (John) Wylie. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law; Louise Whybrew, and Catharine Whybrew a daughter-in-law; PatriciaWhybrew, and one brother-in-law James Moffit. He was preceded in death by both parents, one son; Charles Whybrew, twobrothers and one sister. A memorial service will be held Thursday at Parkview United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Born April 14, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William Jesse and Drucillia Rodgers Pasley.She was a retired Administrative Clerk for Kentucky Utilities and was a member of the Berea Christian Church. Maxie was aco-founder of the Care Club of Kentucky Utilities; she enjoyed playing the piano, growing flowers, and bird/squirrel watching.Survivors include two sons: Richard (Carol) Stapleton of Lexington and Michael (Kelley) Stapleton of Harrodsburg; one stepsonHarold Wayne Stapleton of <strong>Peru</strong>, five grandchildren: Steve Ostafin, Melissa Clifton, Brian Scott Stapleton, Leslie NicoleStapleton, and Heather Stapleton; several great grandchildren, two great great-grandsons, her close family friend Jimmy(Brigette) Howard, and her constant companion Shih tzu Molly Marie also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother,Herman Ulysees Pasley, and two sisters who were stillborn: Dorothy Waveline Pasley and Ocie Madeline Pasley.
