Visitation 9 to 11 a.m.<strong>Peru</strong> <strong>Tribune</strong>, The (IN) - Monday, May 9, <strong>2011</strong>Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Mildred Pauline Miller, 88, of rural Kokomo passed away peacefully on Mother'sDay, May 8, <strong>2011</strong>, at her residence. She was born in Howard County on July 23, 1922, the daughter of Harry and EllaSommers Shrock. Pauline married Henry H. Miller at the Zion Parsonage on March 16, 1946, and he survives. Paulinegraduated from Greentown High School in 1940 and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Kokomo. She was a"Prayer Warrior" on the prayer chain of the church for more than 10 years. As a part of America's Greatest Generation, sheworked at Delco from 1942 to 1945. She and her husband, Henry, farmed until their retirement in 2002. Pauline valued mosther domestic life with family. She was a very kind and generous lady with a memorable smile that would light up a room. Sheenjoyed quilting, was an avid reader and loved caring for the flowers around their home. Left behind to celebrate the love andlegacy of Pauline's life is husband of more than 65 years, Henry, her son Roger Miller and his wife Elizabeth of Amboy, herdaughter, Linda Cravens and her husband Glenn of Lexington, KY, her brother Kenneth Shrock of Plevna, her sister, MiriamHaun of Kokomo, her grandchildren Paul Miller, Robbie Miller, Michelle Cravens, and Heather Taylor, and her greatgrandchildrenMacie Cravens, Mikiah Cravens, Kennedy Cravens and Joshua Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parentsand brothers Emerson, Verl and James Shrock. A service celebrating the life of Pauline Miller will be held at 10:30 a.m.,Wednesday, May 11, <strong>2011</strong>, at the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church, 3976 E. 1400 S., Kokomo with Pastor Chuck Griffithofficiating. Burial will be in Shrock Cemetery in Howard County. Family and friends will gather from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday atthe Howard-Miami Mennonite Church.
