Stephenson, 81, of Amboy, Indiana, passed away at 3:06 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, <strong>2011</strong>, at Seton SpecialtyHospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Wabash on August 12, 1929, the daughter of Ralph and Eva Gibson Zimmerman.Esther married Hershel Stephenson in Grant County on April 16, 1953 and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2001. Estherwas a 1947 graduate of <strong>Peru</strong> High School and a 1948 graduate of International Business College. She retired from DelcoElectronics on June 30, 1989 after 35 years. Survivors include her sons, David W. Stephenson and his wife Holly of Marion,and Robert O. Stephenson and his wife Bonnie of Marion; a daughter, Marlene Smith and her husband Ray of Jonesboro; eightgrandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. A service celebrating the life of Esther L. Stephenson will be held at 10:30a.m. Tuesday, February 8, <strong>2011</strong>, at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home, 201 North Main in Amboy, with Pastor Jim McDowellofficiating. Burial will follow at the Park Lawn Cemetery in Amboy. Family and friends will gather from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday,February 7, <strong>2011</strong>, at the funeral home. She was born on Feb. 28, 1915,in Flora, the daughter of Harry and Carrie (Flora) Bowerman. She married Jacob Richardson on Dec. 24, 1933. He precededher in death on Sept. 24, 1972. She then married Joe Boone on Aug. 16, 1977. He preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 2003.Survivors include a son, Howard (Arliss) Richardson, Converse; sisters Laura Jane (Larry) Godfroy, <strong>Peru</strong>, and Judy Case,Rochester; a step-son, Dan (Sharon) Boone, Wabash; a daughter-in-law, Merideth Richardson, Kokomo; a brother, Dale(Marty) Bowerman, Piqua, Ohio; a sister, Joan (Rex) Lowe, Kokomo; a brother-in-law, John B.
