She was born inWheatland, Ind. on May 8, 1931 to David and Livinia Ellis, both deceased. She was retired from Olin Corporation. Survivorsinclude a daughter, Rita Sanders of Kokomo; son William Sanders, North Carolina; daughters Darlene Worden of <strong>Peru</strong>, SusanGrund of Indiana, and Symbolene King, Oklahoma; and a son, David Sanders of <strong>Peru</strong>. She had 12 grandchildren and severalgreat-grandchildren. Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Eddie Sanders, one brother and three sisters. Mike wasborn on March 16, 1941 to Joseph and Evelyn (Miller) Zehring at their residence in Miami County. Mike leaves behind hisloving wife of 50 years, Linda (Binkerd) Zehring, two daughters Michele (Dale) Sommers and Elizabeth “Liz” (John) Oldakerboth of <strong>Peru</strong> and his sister Anita (Fred) Shrock of Amboy. Mike was a wonderful loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren and17 great-grandchildren. Mike retired from the Town of Bunker Hill but they couldn’t keep him away, it was what he liked todo, and returned to work as a part time employee and consultant. Mike was a proud member of the Bunker Hill Lions Club,The Bunker Hill Fish and Game Club, were he has held various board positions throughout the years. Mike also served on ThePipe Creek Volunteer Fire Department. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting, beingoutdoors and sports of all kinds. Marvin Edward Ensley Jr., was born July 14, 1925 to Marvin E. Ensley Sr. and Esther MarieChambers in Miami County. He married Edna M. Bishop on Sept. 11, 1960. Marvin had worked at Balley Furniture, <strong>Peru</strong>Foundry and GenCorp. He had retired from GenCorp in Marion in 1990. He enjoyed retirement by fishing, working in hisgarden, playing cards and doing what he loved most: spending time with his children and grandchildren. Marvin is survived byhis ex-wife Edna Ensley; his children Alvin (Ronna) Ensley of Fulton, Jane Ensley of <strong>Peru</strong>, Ed (Martha) Ensley of Van Buren;grandchildren Shane (Sherry) Ensley, Kyle Ensley, Abbey Ensley, Ben Ensley, Charlie Ensley and one great-granddaughter,Stephanie Ensley. Our father never met a stranger. He enjoyed talking with everybody. He was one of the kindest, big-heartedmen that have ever lived. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. There will never by anybody like him everagain. To his extended family at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, thank you for loving and caring for your father. Ray retired in 1997 from North MiamiElementary School where he had worked for 18 years as head custodian. He was a charter member and served 24 years withthe Denver Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing and camping at Lukens Lake near Roann.. He enjoyed Notre Dame and SanFrancisco 49ers football as well as Jeff Gordon racing. Ray could be found in the afternoons enjoying a healthy dose ofeducation - watching Loony Toons and Tom and Jerry. Survivors include one daughter, Regina Alder, Delphi; one son, BrianMichael, Logansport; one brother, Ronald Lee Michael, Mexico; his companion Bevery Ann Clemons, Denver; several niecesand nephews; and his beloved cat Tommy. She had a big heart and would take in any homeless both two and four legged. But most of all she lovedher children. Brenda was survived by daughters Cindi (Jason) Ray of <strong>Peru</strong>, Tammy (Josh) Carter of <strong>Peru</strong> and Natasha(Jeremy) Adams; sons David Norman, Greg Norman and Michael Norman; several nieces and nephews; her brother Dick(Tehachapi) Awker of California; her sisters Violet Bacon of Mexico, Vera (Frank) Foister of Hartford City, Avis (Ron) Harrisof Roann, Sherry (Dave) Beeching of Amboy and Carolyn (Rick) Murgaw of Amboy; seven grand children and one greatgrandchild.She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Ann Awker and a daughter, Shelley Norman.
