She is survived by her two children, Rae Jean (Lewis) Wallace, Akron, and David A. Robison, 82, <strong>Peru</strong>, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 6, <strong>2011</strong> at his residence. He was born in Wabash County on Feb.5, 1928 to Isam and Elsie Marie (Smith) Robison. He was married to Ann Helton on Oct. 28, 1966 and she survives. Lesterwas a private pilot for over 60 years. He was an avid pilot and instructor. He owned Robison Homes, a business which builtmany homes in the area. From 1945 to 1947, he served as Military Police in the U.S. Army. He also served as a prison guardat Sugamo Prison in Tokyo, Japan, and earned the World War II Victory Medal and Army of Occupation Medal. Lester issurvived by his wife, Ann (Helton) Robison; his sons, Neil (Kathy) Robison, Mobile, Ala., Karl (Teri) Robison, Bunker Hill,and Les Michael “Mike” Robison, Indianapolis; his daughters, Julie Smith, Indianapolis, Jill (Dominick) Imperio, Ocala, Fla.,and Joy Robison, Cos Cob, Conn; two sisters, Lois Ann Hudson and Lorene Hill; and two step-children, Brenda L. (Allen)Luster and Larry L. (Heidi) Mosher. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded indeath by his parents. A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. Third St.,with Pastor Phil Cruea officiating. Burial will take place in Mt. Survivors include hismother in Rochester; his father in Akron; a sister, Phyl Olinger, Rochester; a brother, Jeff Craig and wife Jan, Jackson, Calif.;one niece; two nephews; one great niece and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, William O.Craig, who passed away Dec. 23, 1987. Private burial will take place at the Akron Cemetery, Akron. Roland, 59, Mexico, passed away at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, <strong>2011</strong>, in his residence. He was born in Dayton,Ohio, on April 9, 1951 to Joseph W. and Biola B. (Bollheimer) Roland. Although divorced now, he was married to Beth for 37years. Kenneth served the Indiana State Police for 28 years, and was the Miami County Sheriff for eight years. He was amember of the <strong>Peru</strong> Maennerchor, a charter member of the Mexico Lion’s Club, a member of the Knights of Columbus, amember of the Blue Knights motorcycle club, and a member of QB, a flying club. He was a member of the Saint CharlesCatholic Church. Kenneth is survived by his sons, Matthew J. (Anna) Roland, St. Louis, Mo., and Brian P. Roland, Whitefish,Mont.; his brothers, Ronald W. (Karen) Roland, McKinney, Texas, Daniel P. (Jan) Roland, Wabash, and Timothy J. Roland,McAllen, Texas; and a sister, Lois Ann (Al) Turner, Westminster. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Alexander,Gavin and Kennedy. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service has been planned for Tuesday at 10 a.m. inthe Saint Charles Catholic Church, 58 W. Fifth St., with the Rev. Francis I. Kilcline III officiating. Burial will take place in theCrown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis. Friends may call from noon until 7 p.m. Monday at the Miami County CommunityBuilding, 1029 W. 200 North. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Wabash-Miami County Home Health and Hospice,or to a favorite charity in memory of Kenny.
