He wasborn in Russiaville on April 1, 1934 to James E. and Beulah P. (Jones) Shackelford. He married Gerlene (Hatton) CaldwellShackelford in 2010, and she survives. Bill was retired from Haynes International in Kokomo. He served in the U.S. Navy, andenjoyed traveling, antiques, and engine shows. Survivors include a brother, David Shackelford; sisters Connie Warrens ofOhio, and C. Sue Morris of Bunker Hill. He is also survived by nephews Willie Morris of Bunker Hill, and Todd and Ted Leyof Ohio; nieces Janna Osborne and Peggy Jenkins, both of Ohio. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and his formerwife Marcia Dagnen Shackelford, to whom he was married for 41 years. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19,<strong>2011</strong> at Allen Funeral Home in Bunker Hill, with Pastor Ron Sansen officiating. Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery,Bunker Hill where a military service will be performed by the Miami County Military Rites team. She was born in Erie Township,Miami County May 23, 1930 to John H. and Ada Lee (Minnix) Bailey. She married Lloyd R. Ulerick June 6, 1948, and hesurvives. Shirley was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include hersons, Lloyd E. (Sondra) Ulerick of Rochester and Garrell (Elsa) Ulerick of <strong>Peru</strong>; a daughter, Joleen (Edward) Sroda, <strong>Peru</strong>; abrother, Dale Bailey of Arizona; and a sister, Ruth Stevens, of Utah. She had nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Shewas preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Leo Bailey. Survivors include her mother, Mary Correll of <strong>Peru</strong>; grandmother,Rachel Wilburn of <strong>Peru</strong>; a brother, Terry Lee Correll, Jr. and his wife Maria of Denver; two nephews, Baily Correll of Denverand Brody Correll, Denver; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Billie had previously worked at Nixon Newspapers and Miller's Merry Manor NursingHome. Survivors include a daughter Teresa Kelley of <strong>Peru</strong>; a son Eugene Murl Snowden of Logansport; a stepson KennethChilders and his wife Annie of Logansport; three sisters Barbara Kauffman of <strong>Peru</strong>, Patty Reeves of Pine Bluff, Ariz., andDebra Roy and her husband Ron of Collinsville, Ill.; two brothers Charles Triplett and his wife Sue of <strong>Peru</strong>, and Joe Triplett ofWheeling, W.Va.; and two grandchildren Dartagnan Childers and Todd Ryan Kelley.
