Mygrant, 65, Macy, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, <strong>2011</strong> at Logansport MemorialHospital. He was born on May 11, 1946 in Amboy, the son of Ralph and Lucille Sommers Mygrant. Darlmarried Sharon Kneram on Sept. 6, 1975 in <strong>Peru</strong> and she survives. A 1965 graduate of Oak Hill HighSchool, Darl was a member of the Old Cross Road Baptist Church, Gilead. A U.S. Army veteran, Darl wasa paratrooper and served in Vietnam. His military decorations include the National Defense Service Medal,the Parachute Badge, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Army CommendationMedal, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Republic of VietnamCampaign Ribbon. He was a member of the Rochester American Legion, the VFW Post #1343, the MooseLodge #1107, the Howard County Vietnam Veterans Association and the <strong>Peru</strong> Maennerchor. He was aformer member of the Amboy Volunteer Fire Department and the Boy Scouts. He was employed byChrysler Corp. for 37 years and worked 6 years for the Miami Correctional Facility. Surviving in addition to his wife Sharon,are sons, Richard (Geneva) Pierce of Chicago, Ill., Norman (Lisbeth) Pierce of Macy; daughters, Michelle (Eric) Dickey ofSomerset and Robin (Kerry) Milligan of Memphis; a sister, Nancy (David) Moore, Rochester; brothers, Ron (Betty) Mygrantof West Palm Beach, Fla.; David (Connie) Mygrant, Rochester, and Keith (Sheila) Mygrant of Santa Fe; a sister-in-law, CarolMygrant of Sherman, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley (Brock) Nehr, Trevor Dickey, Lauren Dickey, Kyle Dickey, KalibMilligan, Josh Milligan, Elizabeth Pierce and great-grandchildren Braylin Nehr and Brodie Nehr. He was preceded in death byhis parents, and a brother, Larry Mygrant. A service celebrating the life of Darl G. Mygrant will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday,July 9, <strong>2011</strong> at the Amboy United Methodist Church, 202 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Amboy, with Pastor Thad Stewart and PastorMatthew Trexler officiating. Burial will be in Clymers Cemetery with military rites provided by the Miami County MilitaryRites Unit. Family and friends will gather from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Laird-Eddy Fuenral Home, 201N. Main St., Amboy. He was born in Lagro, Wabash County to Thomas Henry and Laura Etta (Troxel) Stone. He married (Marilyn) JeanKintner on May 27, 1951 and she survives. Donald retired in 1986 from <strong>Peru</strong> Community Schools after 28 years as head of themath department. Prior to that he taught at Bunker Hill High School and various other high schools during his 42 year teachingcareer. He also spent several years as a salesman in the Indianapolis area for Standard Oil. He served in the U.S. Army-AirCorp from 1941 until 1945 and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Service Medal. Donald was a member ofthe Manchester Church of the Brethren. He graduated from Lagro High School in 1937 and attended Manchester College from1938 to 1941. He graduated from Manchester College in 1947 with a bachelor of art degree in mathematics and earned amaster of science in education from Purdue University. He was a member of the <strong>Peru</strong> Lions Club, Wabash County RetiredTeachers Association, North Manchester Historical Society, Wabash County Genealogical Society, and the Eighth Air Force487 Bomb Group Historical Society. He was a former member of the <strong>Peru</strong> Church of the Brethren where he served as treasurerand deacon for 24 years. He enjoyed camping, traveling with family and woodworking. He is survived by his wife; sons, Karl(Elaine) Stone, Gettysburg, Penn. And Jon (Sandra) Stone, Emerald Island, N.C.; daughters, Beverly (Charles) Malooley,Bloomington, Kathryn (Charles) McCarty, Avon, Edith Stone, North Manchester, and Jill (Richard) Spenner, Roanoke; sisters,and Ruth Ellen Stone, North Manchester and Emmalou (Robert) Rice, Lagro. He is also survived by 15 granchildren. He waspreceded in death by his parents, a daughter, two brothers and a sister. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in theManchester Church of the Brethren, 1306 Beckley St., North Manchester, with Pastor Karen Eberly and the Rev. Joan Deeterofficiating. Friends and family may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the Manchester Church of the Brethren. Burial willtake place in the Hopewell Cemetery, Lagro. Fry, 85, Greentown, died at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, <strong>2011</strong> at Century Villa Healthcare, Greentown.She was born May 23, 1926 in Greentown to Merl and Zera (Cassell) Loman. She married Alfred Stanton“Buck” Enyart May 26, 1944 in Greentown and he preceded her in death on May 13, 1971. She thenmarried Raymond Otto Fry in 1976 and he preceded her in death in 2002. Janet was a homemaker. Shegraduated from Mreentown High School in 1944 and attended Salem Christian Church in Miami County.She was very active in the Over the Hill bowling league and enjoyed bicycling. She is survived by herchildren, David (Mary Faith) Enyart, Severville, Tenn., Steven (Debra) Enyart, Converse, Donald(Audrey) Enyart, Pentwater, Mich., and Judy (Danny) Hanners, Duluth, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren;her sister, Phyllis (George) Gerstorff, Greentown, and several nieces and nephews.
