BornSept. 27, 1931 in Denver, he was the son of Clinton Dean and Winifred Carson Grimes. On Oct. 12, 1952 in <strong>Peru</strong>, he wasmarried to Marcia Ann Howard, and she survives. James retired from the U.S. Air Force in the early 1970s. He then workedfor several years at the foundry in Rochester. For many years he volunteered for the Miami County YMCA mowing andwatering the soccer fields. Surviving along with his wife are two children, Howard D. Grimes and wife Diane, Pullman,Wash., and Kathi A. Beaver and husband Paul, Crystal River, Fla.; three grandchildren, Matthew Grimes, Benjamin Grimesand Lyndi Lancaster; two great grandchildren Bayley Lancaster and Anthony Hubartt. Graveside services will be held at 2p.m. Saturday, July 30, <strong>2011</strong> at Westlawn Cemetery, Denver. Visitation will be from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. at McClain FuneralHome, Denver. On Dec. 20,1953 in Hampton, Va. she was married to William A. Robbins, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 1990. On Nov. 23,1990 she was married to David F. Angle, and he survives. She was a member of the New Waverly United Methodist Churchwhere she served as church pianist. She retired from Federal Mogul after their acquisition of Switches in Logansport where shehad worked for many years. She enjoyed researching her family genealogy. She is survived by her husband David F. Angle,Twelve Mile; one son Oran William “Rob” Robbins, Bunker Hill; three daughters, Linda Jean Hoover, Twelve Mile; Dianne P.Robbins, Pensacola, Fla.; Virginia Leigh Rowan and husband Kevin, Wabash; three stepsons, David B. Angle and wife Jan,New Waverly; Randy L. Angle and wife Linda, New Waverly; and Brad A. Mary married Stanley Graves in Ringgold, Ga. On July12, 1958 and he survives. As an Air Force wife, she accompanied her husband, retired Chief Master Sgt. U.S. Air ForceStanley Graves on his various assignments around the country during his 30 years on active duty in the Air Force. Maryvalued most her domestic life with family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved animals, especially hercats. Mary loved feeding and watching song birds, the beauty of nature, gardening and working in the flowers around herhome. She also loved books, was an avid reader and loved to travel. She is survived by her husband of more than 53 years,Stanley; daughter, Scarlett Jane Graves-Jewett and her husband Steven Jewett of Fort Pierce, Fla.; son, Steven Benfield Gravesand his wife TerriAnn of Tipp City, Ohio; grandchildren, Mattie Grace Graves-Jewett, Dominic Ryley Valdez Graves andAlexandra Elizabeth Graves. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at the residence of her brother-in-law, Clinton Graves ofBroadhead, Ky. on Sept. 3, <strong>2011</strong>. He was employed in the housekeeping field at DukesHospital in <strong>Peru</strong>, Memorial Hospital in Logansport and White County Hospital in Monticello with over 20 years combinedservice before his illness. He was a member of Eastpointe Bible Church in <strong>Peru</strong>. He was a past assistant scoutmaster for theBoy Scouts of America, past board member of the Miami County Historical Society, and past vice president of the IssacWalton League in <strong>Peru</strong>. He worked for several years with Heritage Days in <strong>Peru</strong>. He graduated from <strong>Peru</strong> High School in 1972and his passion for the last 12 years was doing historical reenactments all over the top half of Indiana. He is survived by hismother, Jeanne Blodgett; his wife of 35 years, Miriam Blodgett; two daughters, Rachel Blodgett and Sarah (Bryan Scott)McCoy; and one beloved grandson, Clay McCoy. Also a sister Wanda Filson, Tampa, Fla. and several nieces and nephews. Hewas preceded in death by his father, Joseph R. Blodgett and a half sister, Marna Engel. Friends may call from 2 p.m. till timeof service Sunday at Eastpointe Bible Church. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the church with the Rev.
