<strong>Tecnai</strong> on-line help Options 34Options Software version 23.4 Photomontage displayThe Photomontage Display window is a window that is typically located in the data space of the <strong>Tecnai</strong>User Interface. It can either be freely positioned and sized or fixed. The choice between the two is madein the Photomontage Control Panel. The display contains two essential elements, the menu and thedisplay itself.TEM Photomontage has two major modes of operation :• Recording of the images on plate negatives. This mode of operation is the same as on older softwareversions, except that the possibility of manually recording CCD images is no longer available.• Recording of the images on CCD. This mode of operation is new to software version 2.1.8/3.0. It isonly available in combination with TIA CCD.Because the two modes of operation are substantially different, they are described separately below.adds a point to the series of boundary points that define the photomontage area. For CCD, it starts thesequence for obtaining the reference image.
