If the image does not cover the whole montage area, modify the conditions andrepeat.When you select Acquire image in thePhotomontage menu, instructions willappear in the Photomontage window.Photomontage will always used the mostrecently acquired CCD image as thereference. Once you click on OK, theimage will be retrieved and displayed inthe Photomontage window. You can thenrequired to define the montage area.3.20 Define areaAfter the reference image has beenretrieved from TIA, the followinginstructions will be displayed.The operator is now required to definethe montage area by double-clicking withthe left-hand mouse button on thereference image. Each click will defineone boundary point. Make sure to goround the perimeter in a regularsequence (starting at one point and goingaround until close to the starting point). Itis possible to back up, deleting points bypressing the minus key on the keyboard.Pressing Enter finalizes the areadefinition and automatically closes theperimeter definition.To make changes to the area definitionafter pressing Enter, you have to reacquirethe image.
