consciousness-based education and governmentConclusionThis paper has reviewed findings which indicate that the MaharishiTechnology of the Unified Field through the practice of the TranscendentalMeditation program produces consistent and substantial rehabilitativeeffects in correctional settings. From a practical perspective itappears to the authors that the results of this research are clearly sufficientto merit its adoption in large-scale correctional programs withstate or federal support.
