At Maharishi University of Management, he was foundingchairman of the Chemistry Department and has held teaching facultypositions in the Physiology, Chemistry, Neuroscience, and PsychologyDepartments. His Neurochemistry Laboratory was active in researchon the neurochemistry and endocrinology of the Transcendental Meditationprogram in relation to stress, cardiovascular health, and higherstates of consciousness. He is currently continuing these lines ofresearch in collaboration with established researchers at MaharishiUniversity of Management and other institutions.499
