4 God’s Puzzle Solvedthe earth, the solar system and the universe? Hardly! Ithas been only in the last few centuries that astronomersand astrophysicists have made accurate measurements ofthe earth, the solar system and the galaxies. With hightechinstruments like The Hubble Space Telescope andadvanced mathematics, scientists are now attempting tomeasure the vast distances and complex parameters of theuniverse. This would be compared to “stretching the line”(The Bible’s measurement) upon it.So, the questions that God asked Job aren’t ludicrous afterall. He is asking, “[Where were you] 7 when the morningstars sang together and all the sons of God shouted forjoy?” It took thousands of years for science to begin to understandthe forces that actually hold the earth together.Job did not have the tools of modern science in order toanswer God’s penetrating questions.A State Of MindTo prove that God exists, one must understand somethingabout human reasoning. Mankind can always come upwith an excuse to explain his own thoughts and personalopinions. When you hear the simple explanations offeredby The Bible, you can only come to one conclusion. Thatconclusion is no one was there in the beginning. Job wasn’tthere and neither were you. Only God was there and Hereveals the answers in His word.Proverbs 8:1-2 1Does not wisdom cry? Andunderstanding put forth her voice? 2 She stands inthe top of high places, by the way in the places of thepaths.
