Chapter 13God’s Eternal FireMany pagans believe The Lake of Fire is an eternalfire. Some believe that once you are thrown in, youare tormented forever and are eternally toasted androasted. Others believe that when you are thrown in,you will be completely incinerated. Actually, both ofthese beliefs are somewhat correct. As a Christianwho wants to obey God, Satan will look for ways toconfuse you. He does not need to tell you a straightoutlie, he just will not tell you The Whole Truth.The best liar is one who believes his own lies (John 8:44).Satan was able to fool Eve. Since then, his prime targetsare Christians, although he has, also, deceived many agnosticsand atheists. Satan continually tries to fool you bytwisting and camouflaging the truth. The whole world followshim (II Corinthians 4:4 and Revelation 12:9). Why dida loving God create a Lake of Fire? If all have sinned andthe wages of sin is death, why resurrect anyone? Thosewho repent and want to change should be the only oneswho are resurrected to life. Isn’t this right? The unrepentantshould remain dead. Doesn’t that make sense?Why would God resurrect people when He knows theywill burn? This question should bother you because itdoesn’t sound like a loving God. What is the real purposeof The Lake of Fire? When you understand the reason forit, you will understand God and His masterful plan.
