They could not turn to the left or to the right.The Israelites had to do exactly what God said. “ 33 Youshall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hascommanded you…that you may prolong your days in theland.” So this Covenant was intended to bring long life,prosperity, abundance and physical blessings. However,there was no Salvation. During this time, God was knownas YHWH (JHVH).
