Those who refuse to repentor grow spiritually will go directly into The Fire. Isn’tthat right? “ 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were init; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were inthem: and they were judged every man according to theirworks.” This shows that there is only one resurrection.Christ said, “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, inthe which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice”(John 5:28). Do you find that each person is in a resurrection(Revelation 20:12-13)? Look at this, “ 14 And death andhell were cast into the lake of fire.” Hell is “hades” or the“grave” and “death” is the absence of life.The Torture Of DeathThe dead are thrown into The Lake of Fire. Is God goingto torture death and the grave? How does God torturedeath? There are two types of deaths, but only one death,the physical death is guaranteed. The second death cannotbe a death. Are the pagans right or are they wrong? Dopeople burn forever and ever? How can the second deathbe death if it is only reserved (appointed) for men to dieonce? Look at that text again, “ 14 And death and hell werecast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 Andwhosoever was not found written in the book of life was castinto the lake of fire.”The Book of Life is a marriage registry.
