Remember,all God wanted was for Israel to keep The Ten Commandmentsin their hearts, so He had added nothing more (Deuteronomy5:22). However, The Ten Commandments wereadded to The Law because when Moses went up to TheMount, he also received The Ten Commandments in stone.The Ten Commandments were not written in The Israeliteshearts, because they were hard-hearted and unrepentant.The Torah (Law) was what God told Moses to write in TheBook. This Book was placed in the side of The Ark (Exodus24:7). This Book or Law was for Israel.As long as one’s heart was like stone, God would not givemercy. The Law was only meant to bring a person toChrist (Hebrews 10:1) and it was placed in the side of theark. This is The Letter of The Law or what was written in
