Marriage – The Great Mystery273Jesus Christ spoke specifically about marriage and thekingdom (Matthew 22). However, it is vital to note that TheBible and everything from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 is allabout marriage. This is an important part of the puzzle.God’s marriage is about husband and wife becoming One.God is reproducing Himself “In You.” Christ said, “Unlessyou eat My body and drink My blood, you can havenothing to do with Me.” However, this means that certainones will be excluded from The Marriage.Marriage AgreementPassover (Communion) was The Marriage Agreement whenThe Disciples ate His body and drank His blood. They becameone flesh. There is a profound meaning behind this,as you can already perceive. This insight often occurswhen a person eats the bread and drinks the wine. “ 1 AndJesus answered and spoke to them again by parables andsaid, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like to a certain king, whichmade a marriage for his son” (Matthew 22). The subjectis The Kingdom of God and New Jerusalem. Christ cameto restore marriage back to the way it was intended fromthe beginning. “ 3 And sent forth his servants to call themthat were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.”When this marriage took place between The King’s Sonand His Bride, most assumed The Bride was the church.But that is not accurate.Christ is designated as The Giver while The Bride is thechurch (Ephesians 5).
