The Covenants333when you study your Bible. You must always be teachableand want to know if you are wrong. You repent whenyou are wrong since your desire is to change and growspiritually. You never act as if you have all or enough ofthe truth, “ 6 Who also has made us able ministers of the newtestament.”You cannot be in The Letter of The Law because The Letterof The Law kills. The Spirit gives life, but if you don’tkeep the whole Law in every detail, then you will be cursed.Since all have sinned and come short of The Glory of God,everyone would be dead. Study Romans 5 through Romans8 where Paul explains that which was supposed tobe good for him (speaking of The Law). However, it onlybrought death. The purpose of The Law is to make youunderstand how bad you really are (Romans 5:20). Thatis it. And that is why when people offered sacrifices, theyoffered animal sacrifices.Why Animal Sacrifices?Did you ever wonder why they offered animal sacrifices?It is because they were carnal, just like an animal or adevouring beast. It was their acknowledgement that theywere sinners (this happened with The Azazel Goat when theyreleased him into the wilderness). This goat was a symbol ortype of Satan (who will be chained for 1000 years because ofhis beastlike carnality). Until The Seed came and paid theultimate sacrifice for everyone’s sins, it only showed thatthey kept sinning. Remember, the priests could nevergive an offering that would make them perfect (Hebrews8, Hebrews 9:9 and Hebrews 10:1). It was a reminder thatthey were, also, sinners. That was the purpose of The Law.
