It came directly by revelation.The First LessonThis is the first lesson that Paul tried to get across to them.He explains how the words he preached were not givento him by a human being or from a human conference,“Neither by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father,who raised him from the dead.” Through this letter, Paulis telling you to whom he is writing. He says, “ 2 And all thebrethren which are with me.” There were those who werenot with him, so he was writing, only, to those who werestill following what he taught.Notice that he said, “ 2 To the churches of Galatia: 3 Gracebe to you and peace from God the Father and from our LordJesus Christ, 4 Who gave himself for our sins that he mightdeliver us from this present evil world, according to the willof God [it is God’s will to save the world] and our Father:5To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. 6 I marvel thatyou are so soon removed from him that called you into thegrace of Christ to another gospel: [Now the critical key isthat they had received a gift, and yet, they turned to anotherGospel] 7 Which is not another; [This is because it is noteven considered to be a gospel – in that sense of the word]but there be some that trouble you and would pervert thegospel of Christ.”The word “pervert” is a good English translation, but itdoes not tell the full story.
