God’s Eternal Fire443I Corinthians 3:1-5 1 And I, brethren, could not speakto you as to spiritual, but as to carnal, even as to babesin Christ. 2 I have fed you with milk and not with meat:for hitherto you were not able to bear it, neither yetnow are you able. 3 For you are yet carnal: for whereasthere is among you envying and strife and divisions,are you not carnal and walk as men? 4 For while onesaid, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; areyou not carnal? 5 Who then is Paul and who is Apollos,but ministers by whom you believed, even as the Lordgave to every man?You can be babes “In Christ” and still retain your carnalnature. What is revealed when people still have a carnalnature? They are still fed with milk and not meat.I Corinthians 3:6-15 6 I have planted, Apollos watered;but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he thatplants any thing, neither he that waters; but Godthat gives the increase. 8 Now he that plants and hethat waters are one: and every man shall receivehis own reward according to his own labour. 9 Forwe are labourers together with God: you are God’shusbandry, you are God’s building. 10 According tothe grace of God which is given to me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation and another buildsthereon. But let every man take heed how he buildsthereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man laythan that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyman build upon this foundation gold, silver, preciousstones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man’s work shallbe made manifest: for the day shall declare it, becauseit shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every
