The True Gospel245Two things are required:1) Have a change of mind to follow God’s will and,2) Have faith that God will see to fruition all Hispromises. Abraham had that faith. Abrahamshowed his faith by offering his son, Isaac. Forthat faith, he received the promise of Eternal Life.Acts 1:4-6 4 And, being assembled together with them,commanded them that they should not depart fromJerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father,which said he, you have heard of me. 5 For John trulybaptized with water; but you shall be baptized withthe Holy Ghost not many days hence. 6 When theytherefore were come together, they asked of him,saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again thekingdom to Israel?Apostles AssembledAll The Apostles were gathered together with Jesus Christ(Acts 1).
