Jesus said, “But seek you first the kingdom of Godand his righteousness and all these things shall be added toyou” (Matthew 6:33).Christ plainly tells you that righteousness by The Law ofMoses or any other way will not please God. It will notsave you. The only way you can be saved is through His(God’s) righteousness. To achieve God’s righteousness,you must have “Christ – In You” which is given throughGod’s Holy Spirit (Colossians 1:27). Paul said the samething (Romans 10:1-4). The difference between The Letterand The Spirit is like night and day. The Spirit is the processof God writing His Law (Ten Commandments) in yourheart (Romans 2:14-15). The Letter is when you try to keepThe Law by your own human effort. The Letter only kills.However, God’s Spirit “In You” gives you life by changingyour nature. This is what God wanted from the beginning(Deuteronomy 5:29). He added nothing more.You cannot keep The Law of Moses in The Letter and believeyou will receive life. You can only receive life in TheSpirit through The New Covenant. God is The One whowrites His Ten Commandments in your heart which is Hisrighteousness (Hebrews 10:16). This is the biblical differencebetween The Old Covenant and The New Covenant.Paul said, “Let us hold fast the profession [New Covenant]of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)”(Hebrews 10:23).The Law Is SpiritualHere is the crux of the problem.
