When you read The Bible, you should think of itfrom the standpoint that you are acquiring wisdom. Furthermore,this is “wisdom to Salvation.”The Holy ScripturesHere in this text, you find that the first thing a personshould learn is how to rightly divide the teachings of TheBible. Where it says “holy scriptures,” you must discernthat “Holy” first signifies “pure” or “unblemished.” Makeno mistake about that. These are The Holy Scriptures whichare able to make you wise so you can learn about Salvation.This is the culmination of what God has planned for everyperson through faith which is “Christ Jesus – In You.” AllScripture, at that time, was found only in The Old Testament.The New Testament had not yet been completed.Realize that God not only looks to The Old Testament asHoly Scripture but also to The New Testament. Christiansmust come to understand that The Holy Scriptures consistof The Old Testament along with The New Testament. Paultold Timothy, “Study to show yourself approved to God, aworkman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing theword of truth” (II Timothy 2:15). Nothing comes easy. Youcannot study The Bible too often.Faith With Prayer And StudyThe Scriptures tell you that The Bible is a puzzle and youmust know how to separate or develop The Word.
