Eventually, on an individual basis, in yourown time and in your own way, you will say “it is enough.”It will depend upon how hard your heart is. Your entirecarnal nature is found in the flesh and it must be burnedup (Matthew 5:30).What about the people, today, who ruin their lives withdrugs, alcohol or smoking? They become addicted. Whendo they quit? Usually, they quit when it hurts too much.It is called bottoming out. They almost overdose. If theydrink too much, they may kill someone while driving.If they smoke, they get an illness such as throat or lungcancer.Revelation 21You can learn about the new heaven and new earth byfocusing on Jerusalem (Revelation 21). However, youwon’t learn much about the rest of the world. The focusis completely upon New Jerusalem. The rest of the newearth must be healed (Revelation 22:2). There must besomething special about New Jerusalem in reference tothe time of the new heaven and the new earth. It is verysignificant to the remainder of the world. New Jerusalemis where God chose to place His name. He, Himself, willreside there at the time of the new heaven. It is all aboutJerusalem.
