This encounterwith The Holy One brought him to the greatest depth ofrepentance known to man. Job had to lose his family, hiscareer and then be afflicted with sickness and excruciatingpain. If that wasn’t enough, Job’s so-called friendstried to persuade him that all his problems were the resultof hidden sins he committed. They told him he needed torepent. After a long period of suffering, Job was finallyconfronted directly by God who spoke with him out ofthe whirlwind (Job 38:1). Hence, Job became a captivelistener about all the things God had created. God declaredthat when He made the oceans “the waters wouldonly go so far and no more” (Job 38:11). God related howHe rolled out the heavens as if it were a curtain – like TheBig Bang (Job 38:31-35 and Isaiah 40:22).In all this, it was a presentation to Job about how Godhad created the world. Job finally came to realize everythingGod was explaining to him. He was seeing more ofthe true perspective about The Creator of this universe. Itwas God’s hand that had made everything – including theinvisible laws that hold it all together.Job 42:1-6 1 Then Job answered the Lord and said 2 Iknow that you can do every thing and that no thoughtcan be withholden from you. 3 Who is he that hidescounsel without knowledge?
