They believe Christianity is a feeling andmany times associate it with uncontrolled passion.God’s love (agàpè) is totally different. God has emotionand feelings, but this is based upon righteousness. Whenthe rich man said he kept the commandments from hisyouth up, Christ said that Jesus loved (agàpè) him (Matthew19). Agàpè, God’s love, is based upon morality andrighteousness. God’s love is based upon The Ten Commandmentsbeing in your heart (I Timothy 1:5).Christians, as true followers of Christ, do not need to observethe written Law (The Torah) when they keep The TenCommandments. This is because they are on a higher levelthrough a change of heart (which is love). At the sametime, true Christians do not merely follow Christ throughtheir feelings or emotions and keep on sinning. Rather,they have a heart of love that keeps them from sinning.This is The New Covenant, which is more glorious and betterthan The Old Covenant with The Law of Moses. TheNew Covenant is “Christ – In You” (Colossians 1:27). Youare One with God as He reproduces “Himself – In You” andyou become His Sons.
