Expertsin Jewish law elected to hide this fourfold name to ensureit would not be blasphemed. When the four letters ofThe Tetragrammaton appeared in the text, scribes wouldpoint to it and substitute vowels for the word “adonai”in Hebrew (literally, “lord”) which was in turn read “adonai”rather than the sacred name “Yahweh.” In Hebrew,“I AM THAT I AM,” states exactly what God actually is.God said, “You shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM’has sent me to you.” This name means “I am the existingone.” In Hebrew it means the “existing one” or the “onlyexisting one.”This ties in with The Ancient of Days meaning that Godalways existed.
