We were so happy she was enthralled with the birdhouse,so we just went to bed. That is how God is. There’snothing more delightful to God than seeing His childrenhappy. Everything was perfectly laid out in The Gardenof Eden. They had Eternal Life from The Tree of Life.They had all the food they needed. No harm could cometo them. They had perfect weather. There were no weedsor thorns in their garden. The Garden of Eden was Paradise.In Hebrew “Eden” means “pleasantness.” This wasThe Garden of The Land of Pleasantness. The whole landwas delightful. The garden was a Paradise on earth, but,then, it was lost to them.Lost EdenHow did they lose it? God told them about two trees thatwere in The Garden. There had to be two trees or elseAdam and Eve would not have had the free choice thatGod gave to them and now gives to you. The opportunityto have free choice was the key.Genesis 3:1-11 1 Now the serpent was more subtle thanany beast of the field which the Lord God had made.And he said to the woman, Yea, has God said, youshall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And thewoman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruitof the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the treewhich is in the midst of the garden, God has said, Youshall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, less youdie. 4 And the serpent said to the woman, You shall not
