Permitted Actions<br />

Moving of trolleys and other mobile equipment<br />

across heritage floor surfaces provided that they<br />

are fitted with rubber or pneumatic wheels.<br />

Removal of scuff marks from heritage floors/<br />

wall surfaces and door cases caused by moving<br />

furniture, equipment, etc in accordance with<br />

the Housekeeping Permitted Action Schedule.<br />

4.9 CONDUCTING EDUCATIONAL <strong>AND</strong> ART WORKSHOPS<br />

Not Permitted Actions<br />

Moving of trolleys and other mobile equipment fitted<br />

with solid wheels/casters across heritage floor surfaces.<br />

Removal of scuff marks from heritage floors/wall<br />

surfaces and door cases without reference to the<br />

Housekeeping Permitted Actions Schedule and<br />

prior consultation with the OPH Heritage staff.<br />

Repairing gouges, scratches, tears or splits<br />

to heritage surfaces/items without prior<br />

consultation with the OPH Heritage staff.<br />

Impact on heritage fabric may be caused by activities or workshop materials<br />

inadvertently spilling out of designated wet areas.<br />

Issue<br />

Staining, soiling, caused by spillages of wet materials<br />

Fabric most at risk Carpets, textiles, paper, leather<br />

The following table identifies a number of potential Actions associated with addressing damage from art workshops.<br />

Conducting art workshops in designated<br />

Importing materials for workshops following<br />

approved access and egress routes as indicated<br />

on Figure 2A and 2B of this schedule<br />

Clean up of art workshops, provided<br />

methods adhere to those prescribed in<br />

Housekeeping Permitted Action Schedule.<br />

Use of pencils and paper<br />

Not Permitted Actions<br />

Use of ink, permanent pen and paint in the<br />

Chambers and Politics and Party Zones<br />

Any art activity conducted in public access areas
